This is a Grade II tatami, meaning it is more affordable and may have minor imperfections such as small scratches, slight color inconsistencies, or minor surface irregularities. The interlocking joints are intact and fully functional. Most of these Grade II tatamis have barely visible flaws; if any defects are noticeable, the mat can be flipped to the fully intact other side.
