Precision from Seca - 899 personal scale.

The family company Seca has stood for precise measuring and weighing elements since 1840. In addition to traditional scales, the company offers complete solutions for the sports and medical sectors and relies on IT support. The Seca personal scale 899 is an uncomplicated measuring unit for precise weight determination. Up to 150 kg, the scale work with an accuracy of 100 g; above this, up to a maximum load of 200 kg, the weight is displayed in 200 g increments.

Weight determination at every turn - Seca 899 mobile scale.

Whether at home, in the sports studio, or the competition arena, the Seca 899 personal scales are quickly at hand. Thanks to the practical handle, the model with a deadweight of 4.2 kg can be transported without any problems. The cable for the display is 2 m long and enables both stationary wall mounting of the control unit and installation on a table. Other functions such as TARE, HOLD, and BMI can be used in addition to the weight display. 6 AA batteries or a standard household power connection are required for commissioning.

What your BMI wants to tell you.

Bodyweight and height are put with one another in the so-called BMI - the body mass index. From this, it can be deduced whether your weight range corresponds to the norm or whether you deviate upwards or downwards. Unfortunately, the BMI has a weak point because it makes no difference between fat and muscle mass when it comes to weight.
